House Groups

A National Idea

Many churches in more recent years have recognised the need to create opportunities where people can have a closer relationship with each other than Sunday morning allows. That's what House Groups are all about, the setting up of small groups within the church that meet regularly mid-week. In a House Group you can really get to know people with who, on a Sunday, you normally have only limited time.

In RCC

In RCC, from time to time, we have a number of House Groups that meet mid-week in people's homes. Depending on what else is on the Church Diary for the month, House Groups may meet either fortnightly or monthly, to give that extra opportunity to share together, pray together, study together, have fun together, eat together, or whatever else the Groups decide they want to do together.  The groups are really good opportunities to share problems. difficulties or worries and receive encouragement from others who have probably been through exactly the same sorts of things.
