Children and Youth

  
Gig (God is Good) Youth was the name the youth of RCC used to run under.

  

In more recent days Gig has been replaced by children's and teens' groups which we simply refer to as "Children's Church".    

 

The Objectives of Children's Church

   

The primary objective of Children' Church is to recognise and develop the spiritual aspects of the children and youth of RCC and of any others who wish to join with them.

Sunday mornings continue to be a combination of physical, mental and spiritual activities to meet the whole needs of the young person.

Children's Church seeks to equip our young people to be those who can make their own life decisions and not be manipulated by media or any other force in society. They are encouraged to think for themselves and reach decisions on the basis of the fullest information available to them, so that they and they alone decide their standards and life norms, instead of succumbing to the peer pressures or the poorly founded ideas and standards of others.
