Groups Within The Church

A GENERAL PRINCIPLE

The general principle that we work upon in RCC is, if there is a need then we'll create a group or provide a service to meet it.  The following general descriptions give an indication of what is provided within the church.

For further questions about any of these provisions, which may not be covered on the site, please contact any member of the church's Leadership Team.

a) Children & Youth

The following groups are run under the overall direction of Liz Durham:

Youngest Children- Creche
A Sunday morning creche is available, to cater for the very youngest. Most of the time we encourage parents to keep their children with them if they can, and we're not afraid of 'baby noises'! However, if you need a break, the Creche is there is you let us know you'd like to use it.

Younger Children
Our Sunday School for Primary School age children operates in the latter part of Sunday morning in the Carriage Room

Young Teens
Our young teens have their own activities

b) House Groups

We run several House Groups to provide an oportunity for informal gathering together on a fortnightly basis.

c) Misc. Groups

A variety of other groups gather to meet the needs of the Christians of the church. These may involve prayer, Bible Study, specific teaching groups and Creative Arts groups, under the direction of a variety of gifted leaders.
